The Challenge

Enable commerce within digital magazines without interrupting the premium reading experience. Users needed to shop seamlessly while remaining engaged with editorial content.

The Solution

Designed a two-tier shoppable tray system: mid-height tray for browsing while reading, full-screen mode for focused shopping. Conducted guerilla testing in London and Oxford, plus user interviews with incentivized subscribers. Used Gestalt principles for product grouping.
